Yellow sapphire should wear on Thursday. For yellow sapphire, gold metal is suitable. The perfect time to wear a Pukhraj ring is in the early morning.
Methods of Wearing a Yellow Sapphire
Before wearing the ring it should be washed with Ganga-water or raw cow’s milk. When ring has been washed, the ring should be placed on a yellow cloth upon which a Jupiter Yantra has been drawn with yellow sandalwood.

The wearer can also do these rituals himself. First, the engraved Yantra on silver plate should be washed and dried with a clean yellow cloth.
The worship should be done facing northeast, sitting on a yellow asana made of wool. After the worshipping, the Yantra is respected by a Tilak, flowers and incense should be offered. The ring placed on the cloth on which the Ynatra is drawn before it is put on the engraved Yantra.

The mantra should be spoken either 108 or 19,000 times. The wearer should meditate and after meditation, the ring should be worn. The ring should be worn on the first/index finger of the right hand. That would be possible too, wearer should donate yellow cloth/Chane ki Dal to any begger or can be given to a Pandit in a temple.
